LION CAREER:
2010-11: In her third season of dual meet action, Vongreis went 47-19. Vongreis earned herself a trip to the 2011 NCAA Fencing Championships where she walked away with an eleventh place finish and honorable mention status.

2009-10: In her second season with the Nittany Lions, Vongreis went 24-10. She place 12th at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals

2008-09: Vongreis posted a 9-2 mark in limited dual match action last year. She fenced in each of Penn State's dual dates as well

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Vongries was a member of the Minnesota Sword Club in Minneapolis, Minn. She was coached by Rich Jacobson. Vongries hopes to major in either Materials Engineering or Communications at Penn State.
