Ukrainian-born Nikoletta Proudan will head into her junior season at Penn State hoping to jump into the saber lineup for PSU.

Lion Career: 2007-08: Proudan did not see any dual meet action in 2007-08.
2006-07: Proudan went 8-2 in limited dual meet competition for Penn State as a true freshman. She did not compete in the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals. Proudan posted dual records of 3-2, 4-0 and 1-0.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Proudan, who now resides in Easton, fenced at Millburn High School in New Jersey, where she placed as high as No. 3 in the state and was team captain as a senior. She also fenced at the Lilov Fencing Academy.
