Senior Glen Gardner, N.J. H&HD Epee career statistics
Senior Megan Luteran has been a starter for Penn State and, coming off a season that saw her action limited due to injury last year, will serve as team captain for the Penn State women's fencing team. Luteran will be a contender to return to the starting line-up and earn her first trip to the NCAA Championships. Lion Career:
2005-06: Megan went 16-10 in 2005-06 and placed 13th at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals. She went 8-7, 2-2 and 6-1 in Penn State's three dual meet tournaments. She had a strong Temple Open and earned Academic All-Big Ten recognition as well. 2004-05: Luteran saw important action, posting a 13-3 overall mark and earning a letter. She was went 8-2 in the season's last two dual match events. HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Luteran was a multi-season starter for Vorhees High School in New Jersey. She was a first team all-state pick as a junior and senior and helped guide her team to a combined 38-2 record over her final two years there. She placed third at the state championships as a senior. Megan is planning on majoring in Health and Human Development at Penn State. |
