Even though her dual match performance declined, Stephanie Herbert still put the 25-24 record behind her by placing sixth at Regionals. Her performance was good enough to make her an alternate for nationals. She hopes to climb to the 2009 Championships this season.

Lion Career: 2007-08: Herbet finished the season 25-24 which qualified for a nationals alternate selections.
2006-07: Herbert went 23-15 as a rookie starter at Penn State. She did not compete at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals. Herbert posted dual match records of 2-2, 4-4, 9-3 and 8-6.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Herbert fenced at the Lilov Fencing Academy and has competed in numerous U.S. Junior tournaments. Herbert placed as high as tenth at the Junior Olympics and was a multiple All-State pick in high school, helping Ramapo High School to numerous titles.
