Even though her dual match performance declined, senior Stephanie Herbert hopes to regain her early collegiate success in the women's saber this season.

LION CAREER:
2008-09: Herbert saw spot action in 2008-09, going 6-2. She fenced in each of Penn State's dual meet tournaments.

2007-08: Herbet finished the season 25-24 which qualified for a nationals alternate selections.

2006-07: Herbert went 23-15 as a rookie starter at Penn State. She did not compete at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals. Herbert posted dual match records of 2-2, 4-4, 9-3 and 8-6.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Herbert fenced at the Lilov Fencing Academy and has competed in numerous U.S. Junior tournaments. Herbert placed as high as tenth at the Junior Olympics and was a multiple All-State pick in high school, helping Ramapo High School to numerous titles.
