Senior Emily Dougherty heads into her fourth season with the Penn State fencers looking to improve on her dual meet action from the 2007-08 season. The Colorado-native will look to work her way into the foil line-up on a consistent basis.

LION CAREER:
2008-09: Dougherty did not see any dual match action last season.

2007-08: Dougherty posted a 3-8 record in her first season of dual meet action. All three of her victories came on December 1 at the Princeton Duals. Her victories came against Vassar, Princeton, and North Carolina.

2006-07: Dougherty did not compete in any dual matches.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Dougherty fenced for the Northern Colorado Fencers in Boulder. A graduate of Monarch High School, she lettered in volleyball and soccer during her high school days. She was a member of the National Honor Society and received the President's Volunteer Service Award.
