LION CAREER: 2012-13: Stephenson saw plenty of action as a Junior while compiling a 15-46 record. She competed in the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional and placed nineteenth. The junior had one 3-0 performance that came against Wayne State, a 2-1 performance against UNC, and a 1-0 performance against Drew. She also placed 30th in the Garret Open, hosted by Penn State.
2011-12: Stephenson took advantage of spot action this season to go 17-8 and qualify for the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional. At the regional, she placed 14th. Her season was highlighted by 3-0 performances against Drew, Haverford, and Air Force. She also went 2-1 against Sacred Heart and Vassar, as well as 1-0 against Ohio State.
2010-11: In her first year of collegiate action for the Nittany Lions, Stephenson finished the regular season with a record 23-22.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Stephenson went to Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in Washington, D.C., fencing at DC Fencer's club under coaches Janusz Smolenski and Robert Suchorsk. She finished in the top 32 in Juniors at Summer Nationals 2010.
