Lady Lion Hotline to Debut Friday at Damon's from 6-7 p.m.

The Lady Lion Hotline with Coquese Washington, a call-in show featuring women's basketball head coach Coquese Washington, will open its third season on Friday, Dec. 11 from 6-7 p.m., on 95.3 3WZ and the Pennsylvania Sports Network. Friday's show will originate from Damon's Grill on East College Avenue. Fans are encouraged to attend and ask Washington questions during the show.

Longtime Lady Lion play-by-play announcer, Jerry Fisher, will co-host the show with Washington. Fans will have the opportunity to talk hoops with the Lady Lion coach by calling questions into 877-406-8055. Fans with a Penn State All-Access subscription can also access the audio feed at www.GoPSUsports.com.

The Lady Lion Hotline with Coquese Washington will also air from 6-7 p.m., on Tues., Jan. 12, Tues., Jan. 26, Tues., Feb. 9 and Tues., Feb. 23. There will also be a special edition of the Lady Lion Hotline from the IFC Dance Marathon on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The Lady Lions host Big East rival Pittsburgh on Sat., Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. Penn State will be honoring the 10th anniversary of the 2000 Final Four team at the Pitt game and several members of that team are expected to be in attendance. The Lady Lions continue their four-game homestand against Oakland (Mon., Dec. 21) and Iowa (Mon., Dec. 28). Single-game tickets can be purchased by calling the Penn State ticket office at 814-865-5555.

The 2010 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m., as the Lady Lions take on Illinois in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game can be seen on www.bigtennetwork.com. The first three Pink Zone events have raised more than $80,000 for breast cancer awareness. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
