Brianne O'Rourke will try to lead Penn State to its first win over a top 25 team this season as the Lady Lions host No. 24/24 Texas Tech on Sunday at 3 p.m. The game is a "white out," and fans should all wear white to show their Penn State support.

December 3, 2005 - The Penn State women's basketball team looks to stay on track as it hosts No. 24/24 Texas Tech on Sunday at 3 p.m. The game has been declared a "white out," and fans should wear white to the game to show their support. Fans will also receive a free rally towel, courtesy of Nationwide Insurance.
Sunday's game will air live nationally on espn2 (Adelphia Channel 18). The Penn State Sports Radio Network will carry the game, which will air locally on WMAJ and WBUS. Penn State's official athletics website, www.GoPSUsports.com will carry the audio feed as well as a link the GameTracker feature.
The Lady Lions (2-3) are coming off a 69-60 victory over Pitt on Friday for their first home win of the year Amanda Brown (Kennett Square, Pa.) led Penn State with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Adrienne Squire (Indianapolis, Ind.) added 14 points on 4 for 5 shooting from 3-point land. Squire has hit 13 3-pointers in her last three games, and is shooting at a 56 percent clip from beyond the arc this season. Brown leads the team with 15.8 ppg and 7 rpg. She is shooting at an extremely high percentage, hitting 64 percent of her shots.
Texas Tech (2-4) is led by Latoya Davis, who is averaging 19.8 ppg and nine rpg. Erin Grant is also averaging double-digit scoring figures at 12.5 ppg while also leading the team in assists at 7.0 per contest. As a team, the Lady Raiders are shooting at a .431 clip, while holding their opponents to a .404 mark. Behind the 3-point arc, Texas Tech is shooting 26 percent on 18 for 70 shooting.
Following Sunday's game the team heads to George Mason for a Tuesday 7 p.m. game in Fairfax, Va. Penn State returns home Friday, Dec. 9 for a 7 p.m. matchup vs. Marquette.
