UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Former Penn State Lady Lion standout Nikki Greene has signed a free agent contract with the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks. Training camp opens on Sunday. Greene joins nine-year WNBA vet Tanisha Wright (Seattle), 2013 WNBA All-Rookie team selection Alex Bentley (Connecticut), Maggie Lucas, who was the 21st overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury, and Ariel Edwards (Tulsa) as Lady Lions in training camp.

Greene finished her career ranked second in blocked shots (215), fourth in rebounds (994) and 30th in points scored (1,132).
A native of Diboll, Texas, Greene garnered All-Big Ten third team accolades after averaging 9.2 points and 8.5 rebounds. She also registered 39 blocks in her senior campaign.
