Earning her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Penn State in 2004, Walls returns to her alma mater after stops at Valdosta State, Georgia Southern and, most recently, Butler. A native of Emlenton, Pennsylvania, Walls has extensive experience in college basketball, working with both men’s and women’s basketball during her professional career.

Walls was the Associate Athletic Trainer during her three years at Butler, working with the Bulldogs’ women’s basketball program and distance runners, while assisting in coordinating the insurance claims process for all student athletes. Her two years at Georgia Southern featured time with both the men’s and women’s basketball programs, while her six-year stint at Valdosta State included responsibilities with men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball and various other programs.

Upon earning her master’s degree from Georgia State, Walls took her first full-time post at Valdosta State, where she also taught an undergraduate program: Field Assessment in Athletic Training. Walls is designated as an Athletic Trainer Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Her professional development has also included Kinesiotaping, Graston, and Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
