UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -
Fans all across Pennsylvania will be treated to the full season of the nation's best collegiate wrestling once again as up to six stations will be airing Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling in the 2012-13 season. In addition, the Penn State Wrestling Radio Show will air weekly all across the Commonwealth on Wednesday nights on the PA Sports Network.
Forever Broadcasting's WRSC-AM, 1390, will once again serve as the flagship station for the full season of duals and tournament action, beginning with the Intrasquad dual on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. When conflicts arise, WRSC-FM, 103.1, will carry the action. Joining WRSC to carry the full season of Nittany Lion wrestling will be WLAK-FM, 103.5, in Huntingdon and WMRF-FM, 95.7, in Lewistown. WIEZ-AM, 670, will also carry select Sunday matches. WBPZ-AM, 1230, will also carry the entire season to Lock Haven and the Clinton County area.
Jeff Byers, longtime voice of Nittany Lion wrestling, will once again call the action as head coach Cael Sanderson and the Nittany Lions embark on another national title chase. In addition, Byers will host the weekly Penn State Wrestling Radio Show. The show, which will feature Byers and a rotating line-up of guest coaches and wrestlers, will air live on Wednesday evenings beginning Nov. 7. The broadcast runs from 6:05-6:30 p.m. on over 10 outlets of the PA Sports Network. The full list of affiliates for duals and the weekly show is as follows:

Penn State will begin the new season on Nov. 1 when it hosts its Intrasquad Scrimmage at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall. Ticket information for the 2012-13 season is forthcoming very soon. The season ticket package will include seven home duals (the Intrasquad is a free event and the package does not include the Nittany Lion Open).
