??? STATE COLLEGE, Pa.; July 9, 2002 - Several members of the Penn State Sports Information and Publication staffs recently were honored at the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Convention in Rochester, N.Y.

Brian Siegrist, Assistant Sports Information Director/Publications Assistant, received several publication citations. The cover of the 2001-02 Penn State wrestling yearbook he produced was named Best in the Nation for the second consecutive year. His 2000-01 wrestling yearbook also was selected Best in the Nation.

Siegrist also was honored, along with Assistant SID Randy Press, for the 2001 women's volleyball yearbook, which was selected Third-best in the Nation. Siegrist, Publications Coordinator Barry Jones and Jeff Nelson, Assistant Athletic Director for Communications, were honored for the 2001 Penn State football yearbook, which was selected Best in the District. The 2001 Nittany Lion women's soccer yearbook, produced by Siegrist and former Assistant SID Cathy Bongiovi, was named Second-best in the District.
