OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.; March 17, 2006 -- Penn State sophomore Phil Davis (Harrisburg) has advanced to the championship match at 197 pounds at the NCAA Wrestling Championships.

Davis, No. 6 seed, defeated the No. 7 seed, Cornell's Jerry Rinaldi, by a 7-4 count in tonight's semifinals. In the title match, Davis will face No. 4 seed Jake Rosholt of Oklahoma State Saturday night.

All the NCAA Championship title bouts will air live on ESPN at 7:30 p.m.
