Seniors to be honoroed prior to battle with the Broncs
David Owens heads into the 2012-13 season after a red-shirt year in 2011-12. Owens saw action in open tournaments last year as an unattached wrestler and will continue to battle it out amongst Penn State's middle weights.
Lion Career 2011-12: Red-shirt season...went 2-3 unattached...both wins were tech fall victories.
High School/Personal:
Owens came to Happy Valley from Derry, N.H., having wrestled in high school at Derry where he was a NH state champion at 140. He is the son of Darlene and Steve Owens.
