Sophomore David Crowell came to Penn State midway through last season as a transfer in from in-state rival Pittsburgh. A true freshman starter for the Panthers in 2007-08, Crowell red-shirted last year and heads into the new year hoping to challenge for a starting spot at 184 or 197.
