Sophomore Eric Caschera made his dual meet debut for Penn State last year, getting a shot in Penn State's win over Michigan State. Caschera also competed in a number of open tournaments and will be a vital part of Penn State's depth in the lighter weights in 2008-09. Lion Career: 2007-08: Posted 2-13 overall record last year...wrestled in six open tournaments during the campaign...made dual meet debut vs. Big Ten foe Michigan State on 2/15, losing tough 7-1 decision to Spartan Joel Trombley. 2006-07: Red-shirted last year...went 3-10 as an unattached wrestler...had one pin and one major decision...placed second at 50 kg at Junior World Team Trials this past summer.
