Junior Nathan Andrews has won Penn State's Academic Achievement Award, he's been an Academic All-Big Ten pick and now he's seen dual meet action for Penn State. A talented local product who has been a solid reserve for Penn State over the past two seasons heads into the 2009-10 season looking to have a bigger impact at 197 this year.

Lion Career
2008-09: Posted 6-11 overall mark in 2008-09...got wins in MSU Open and ESU Open...dual meet debut in Penn State's victory over Binghamton on Nov. 23...Also picked up two wins in Nittany Lion Open, including first career technical fall victory.

2007-08: Went 0-2 in the ESU Open and 0-1 in the Nittany Lion Open...picked up first win of the year with 9-3 victory over Franklin and Marshall's Dan Canfield at the Wilkes Open in December...went 1-1 at Wilkes...went 1-2 at Hitchcock Open at Millersville, including 14-5 major over American's Keefer Brooks...went 0-2 at Kent State Open. An outstanding student, Andrews won the team's Academic and Community Service Award after posting a 3.90 GPA in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering.
