Fall 2014: Went 6-3 in singles and 6-4 in doubles, while competing at the Penn Invitational, ITA Atlantic Regional and William & Mary Invitational... Combined with Aws Laaribi at the Penn Invitational to go 2-0 in doubles, defeating Princeton's Ben Quazzo and Diego Vives, 6-3, and Penn's Austin Kaplan and Thomas Spratt, 6-4... Laaribi and Trkulja went 3-1 at the ITA Atlantic Regional to reach the doubles quarterfinals. The duo knocked off Temple's Hicham Belkssir and Nicolas Paulus, 8-6, James Madison's Sebastian Salinas and Miljan Ruzic, 8-5, and Virginia Tech's #17 Andreas Bjerrehus and Amerigo Contini, 8-6. In the quarterfinals, the pair dropped an 8-5 result against Virginia's Luca Corinteli and Ryan Shane... Trkulja combined with Laaribi and Marc Collado Castells at the William & Mary Invitational. Collado Castells and Trkulja split a pair of matches, defeating William & Mary's Lars de Boer and Alec Miller, 8-4, but falling to Harvard's Alex Steinroeder and Kenny Tao, 8-5. Laaribi and Trkulja dropped a pair of tight matches against Old Dominion's Carlos Lopez Villa and Theophile Lanthiez, 8-5, and Harvard's Shaun Chaudhuri and Grant Solomon, 8-7... Began the fall going 3-1 at the Penn Invitational, with wins against St. Joseph's Andreas Urrea, 6-2, 6-0, Princeton's Vives, 6-3, 3-1, retired, and Penn's Nicolas Podesta, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6(4)... Went 1-1 at the ITA Atlantic Regional, defeating George Mason's Joe Hill, 6-4, 6-2, but falling 6-3, 6-1 to Virginia's #28 Ryan Shane... Went 2-1 at the William & Mary Invitational, knocking off Harvard's Tao, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, and William & Mary's Addison Appleby, 6-4, 6-0.

2013-14 (Sophomore): Trkulja went 14-12 in singles this spring, while competing at the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 spots in the lineup... He finished the year with 22 overall singles wins. He went 7-4 in Big Ten play... He also went 6-4 in doubles, combining with Matt Barry and Michael Reilly... Went 8-4 in singles and 9-5 in doubles this fall, while competing at the Navy All-Conference Tournament, Wake Forest Invite, ITA Atlantic Regional and William & Mary Invitational... Earned singles flight honors at the Navy All-Conference Tournament and placed third in the draw at the Wake Forest Invite... He combined with Reilly for a 6-4 win at William & Mary to clinch the doubles point. Barry and Trkulja were inserted into the No. 3 doubles position against No. 70 Wisconsin and responded by winning their next five matches... The streak included wins against the Badgers, No. 51 Minnesota, No. 69 Indiana, No. 63 Nebraska and Iowa. They were also leading 7-6 against No. 36 Purdue when the match was stopped... They clinched the doubles point in four matches for the Nittany Lions... Trkulja won five of his first seven matches this spring, including victories against William & Mary, St. John's, UMBC, Bucknell and Lehigh... Later in the season, he had a three match win streak against No. 69 Indiana, No. 63 Nebraska and Iowa... He also had wins against No. 50 Princeton, Southern Miss, No. 44 Michigan, No. 10 Illinois, No. 70 Wisconsin and No. 51 Minnesota... He clinched the match point four times for Penn State.

2012-13 Season (Freshman): Trkulja won 11 matches in his Freshman campaign, including nine in dual meets and three in Big Ten play. Also picked up 11 doubles wins while combining with five different partners. Trkulja and Russell Bader were ranked 28th in the Preseason ITA Doubles Poll... Won singles matches at the ITA Atlantic Regional and the ITA All-American Championships. At the ITA Atlantic Regional, he defeated St. Joseph's Andres Urrea(6-3, 6-2) in a first round match. At the ITA All-American Championships, he knocked off Xavier's Brandon MacDonald(6-3, 6-3)... Combined with Russell Bader to defeat NC State's Thomas Weigel and Rafael Paez(8-4) at the Ranked+1 Invitational and Liberty's Shea Thomas and Egon Samaai(8-4) and Virginia Tech's Hunter Koontz and Tripimir Kujundzic(8-3)... Competed in the number two singles spot in wins against NC State's Robbie Mudge(4-6, 6-4, 7-5) and Cleveland State's Matt Kuelker(6-1, 6-4). Also earned non-conference victories against Lehigh, #46 Virginia Tech, William & Mary, and Rice. Trkulja's 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 win against Rice's Peter Frank to clinch the win for the Nittany Lions... Won Big Ten matches against Indiana and Iowa. During the regular season, Trkulja knocked off Indiana's Elliott Yee(6-2, 6-1) and Iowa's Juan Estenssoro(7-5, 6-1). Also defeated Indiana's Daniel Bednarczyk(6-1, 2-6, 6-4) at the Big Ten Tournament... After dropping a match against NC State, Trkulja and Bader rattled off three straight wins at number one doubles. They knocked off #69 Cornell's Venkat Iyer and Patrick Fiaux(8-3), Cleveland State's Ali Shabib and Niklas Jonsson(8-7), and #59 New Mexico's Riaan Du Toit and Jadon Phillips(8-3). Win at New Mexico helped to earn the doubles point in the Nittany Lions' 6-1 upset... Trkulja also combined with Tomas Hanzlik for wins against Penn and Lehigh and Chris Young in wins against Indiana, Minnesota, and #34 Northwestern.

Junior Career: Trkujla has been a member of the Canadian National Team since 2009. He is a two-time Canadian National Champion, claiming titles in both singles and doubles events. He has earned three ITF doubles championships, three Ontario Provisional singles championships, and four Ontario Provisional doubles championships. He was also a six-time doubles National Finalist.
