2008-09 Season (Junior):Finished the spring with a 7-8 record in singles action...Went 14-10 in spring doubles competition teaming up with Eddie Bourchier...Kicked-off his junior campaign with a victory over Alabama's Ricky Doverspike in straight-sets at the PSU Fall Classic (6-4, 7-6 (7-5))...Won two consecutive matches at the Georgia Tech Invitational in October over Vanderbilt's Bryant Salcedo ( 7-6 (7-4), 6-4) and Furman's Calum Gee (6-4, 6-0)...Finished 3-4 overall in fall singles action...Went 5-3 in fall doubles action, including a 3-1 record when teaming up with Jason Lee...Began the spring season with three consecutive singles victories...Earned a straight-set victory over Derek Stephens (6-1, 6-4) of No. 49 N.C. 2007-08 Season (Sophomore): Went an impressive 15-6 in dual matches...Finished 10-7 in spring doubles...Opened the fall season with two victories over Mike Smith of James Madison (7-6, 6-1) and Phillip Nemec of Elon (6-2, 6-1)...Made progress at the ITA Northeast Regionals with a win over Joe Goldstein of Boston College (6-2, 6-1), advancing him to the round of 32...Finished 7-4 overall in fall singles play...Posted an impressive 10-3 record in fall doubles, teaming up primarily with Brendan Lynch...Opened up the spring season with a key victory over David Anderson of No. 12 Notre Dame (6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8))...Notched a close victory over Jon Fife of Cornell (6-4, 7-6, (7-5))...Earned an excellent win over Gwen Corches of No. 4 Baylor (6-2, 6-1)...Notched a three-set victory over Peter Rispoli of No. 68 Northwestern (1-6, 6-4, 6-4)...Finished the season strong with four consecutive straight-set victories versus Troy List of Lehigh (6-3, 6-3), Jonathan Luce of St. Bonaventure (6-2, 6-1), Anton Kovic of Bucknell (7-5, 6-4) and Jeff Nuhfer of Bloomsburg (6-0, 6-1)...Went 10-7 teaming up with Brendan Lynch, Jake Toole, Guilaume St. Maurice, James Dwyer, Adam Slagter, David Bortner, and Jamie Cox in doubles action.

2006-07 Season (Freshman): Went 3-0 in the Penn State Fall Classic, which included his first career collegiate outing...Advanced to the main draw of the Big Ten Individual Championship with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Michigan's Matt Parks...Finished his initial fall campaign with a 4-2 mark in singles and 1-0 in doubles...Won his first career dual match at the No. 6 slot against Cornell's Michael Yassky in Penn State's 7-0 season opening victory...This began a streak of seven straight victories in singles play, six of which were straight-set triumphs...The last of the seven wins came against Northwestern's Marc Dwyer in Penn State's 4-3 victory at the No. 38 Wildcats...First loss came at the hands of Michael Dierberger (7-6, 6-3) of No. 50 Wisconsin, which also marked the Lions' first loss of the season (4-3) in Madison...Went on a second seven-match winning streak, six of which coming at the No. 5 spot...The streak began with a straight set victory over George Navas of No. 21 Michigan (7-6, 6-1)...Gormley's seven straight victories were pivotal in the Nittany Lions' seven-match winning streak...Concluded his freshman campaign with a loss to Pepperdine's Omar Altmann (6-4, 6-2) in Penn State's 4-1 loss to the Waves in the NCAA Championships...One of four Nittany Lions to post at least 19 victories...Chalked up a 19-8 overall mark, including a 15-6 record in duals and a 6-4 mark in conference matches...Went 8-1 at the No. 4 spot in the singles lineup...Went 6-3 during the spring in doubles action.
