AUSTIN, Texas; March 30, 2003 - Senior Eugene Botes (Thorton, Pa.) finished in 10th place in the 100 Butterfly with a time of :47.01 at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Texas this past weekend.

Botes was the only member of Coach Bill Dorenkott's squad to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Botes also competed in the 100 Freestyle. He took home the crown at the Big Ten Championships in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Freestyle with times of: 47.08 and: 43.93, respectively.
