Swam a season-best time of 15:47.26 in the 1,650 freestyle at the Big Ten Championships (2/27-3/2/13), ranking him third on the team for the event ... Turned in his best performance of the season in the 200 breaststroke at the Big Ten Championships, swimming a time of 2:05.18 ... Was third-fastest member of the Nittany Lions in the 400 IM with his time of 3:57.28 at the Big Ten Championships.
Swam for Greg Fastrich at the Hershey Aquatics Club, qualifying for the U.S. junior nationals and U.S. open water nationals ... Swam for Fastrich at Hershey High School, earning PIAA AAA State Championships in 2010 and 2011 ... Earned All-American honors in the 200 IM in 2010-11 ... Specialized in 500 freestyle and 200 IM, earning a district title and finishing in the A Final at PIAAs both sophomore and junior years ...
