LION CAREER 2012-13: Swam in four individual events throughout the season, competing in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke at the Big Ten Championships (2/27-3/2/13) ... Set a personal-best time of 20.22 in the 50 freestyle at the Big Ten Championships, which ranked as the third-best time turned in by a Penn State swimmer in the event all season ... Recorded the best time of his career in the 100 freestyle at the Big Ten Championships, finishing with a mark of 45.06 ... Swam a personal record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 55.50 at the Big Ten Championships ... Won two races in the 50 freestyle in meets against Missouri State (1/12/13) and Navy (1/26/13).
2011-12: Competed in nine events, seeing the most action in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle ... Participated in three events at the Big Ten Championships (2/22-2/25/12), recording season best times in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.64, the 100 freestyle, finishing in 45.93 and the 100 butterfly, recording a mark of 50.93 ... Member of the 200 medley relay team that took second place against WVU (10/22/11) with a time of 1:32.87 ... Helped lead the 200 freestyle relay team to a first place finish against Auburn (11/4/11) with a time of 1:24.15 ... Member of the 200 freestyle relay team that swam a time of 1:22.15 for a first place finish against Buffalo (2/4/12).
Swam for Greg Fastrich at Hershey Aquatic Club and at Hershey High ... Member of three-time PIAA State Champions (2009-11) with a runner-up finish in 2008 ... Teammate at Hershey with fellow Nittany Lion Sean Grier ... Earned second place in the 50 freestyle and fourth in the 100 freestyle at the 2011 PIAA AAA Championships ...
