2010-11: Competed in seven NCAA events, three individual and four relays... Finished 40th in the 200 freestyle (1:37.46), 43rd in the 100 freestyle (44.27) and 52nd in the 50 freestyle (20.30)... Competed in four relay events (200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay), earning ninth at NCAAs with a time of 1:25.74 in the 200 medley, setting a new school record... Helped set a school record in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:10.58 at the Big Ten Championships while finishing in fifth place... Had a season-best time of 20:03 in the 50 freestyle at the Big Ten Championships... Season-best in the 100 freestyle also came at Big Ten Championships, posting a time of 43.99 and finishing in 14th place... Notched a third season-best at the Big Ten Championships, swimming a 1:36.90 in the 200 freestyle... Picked up 11 individual wins to go along with four team victories... Recorded three victories in the 50 freestyle, earning the first victory on 10/23/11 vs. Virginia Tech... Also picked up wins in the 50 free at Maryland/vs. Pittsburgh and vs. Buffalo... Notched four individual victories on the 100 freestyle, coming at West Virginia, vs. Virginia Tech, at Maryland/vs. Pittsburgh and vs. Buffalo... Competed in both the 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke once vs. St. Bonaventure, earning victories in both... helped the team win the 200 freestyle relay vs. Buffalo on 2/4/11... Helped win the 200 medley relay three times, coming vs. Virginia Tech, vs. North Carolina and at Maryland/vs. Pittsburgh.
2009-10: An NCAA Qualifier in three events, finishing 27th in the 200 freestyle (1:36.27), 30th in the 100 freestyle (43.79) and 37th in the 50 freestyle (19.98)...Swam 19.78 at the Last Chance Meet in Maryland for season-best time in the 50 freestyle...Notched a fifth-place showing at the Big Ten Championships in the 50 free with a 19.92 in the finals after a third-place 19.83 in the prelims...Set a school record in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:35.49 as the leadoff leg of the 800 freestyle relay at the Big Ten Championships, which finished fifth with a school-record time of 6:28.11...Posted 16 wins in the 2009-10 season, nine of which were individual victories...Notched three sub-44 times at the Big Ten Championships in the 100 free with a fourth-place showing in the finals of the 100 free (43.84) and a 43.86 lead-off leg in the 400 freestyle relay, which finished fifth (2:56.92)...Swam 13 NCAA "B" cut times during the season, including four with relay teams...Helped lead the 200 medley relay to a third-place performance at Big Tens, which swam a season-best time of 1:26.65...Captured first win of the season in the 100 free at St. Bonaventure, the first of six wins in the event, winning the first three attempts (at SBU, at Virginia Tech, vs. West Virginia)...Took wins in the 100 free at Pittsburgh/vs. Maryland, at Ohio State/vs. Michigan and Northwestern and against Buffalo...Picked up a win in the 50 free in a home meet against Virginia...Took home top honors in the 200 freestyle with wins at St. Bonaventure and at home against West Virginia...Finished second at Virginia Tech (1:40.59) before a 1:38.91 swim at Ohio State Invitational in the 800 freestyle relay as the lead-off leg...Member of victorious two 200 freestyle relays (at St. Bonaventure, vs. Virginia) as well as two 400 freestyle relay teams (at Virginia Tech, vs. Buffalo)...Member of 400 medley relay team, which finished first three times (vs. West Virginia, at Pittsburgh/vs. Maryland and vs. Buffalo)...Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week on October 20 for impressive showing at St. Bonaventure.
2008-09: Competed at NCAAs in five different events (50 free, 100 breast, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay)...Swam to 19th at NCAAs in the 200 medley relay in a season-best time of 1:27.32...As a member of the 200 free relay team, broke the school record in a time of 1:17.83 at the Last Chance Meet winning the race...200 free relay squad finished 14th in the finals at NCAAs...Swam third-fastest 100 breaststroke time in PSU history with a 54.52 at Big Tens...Went on to finish 14th in the 100 breast at Big Ten Championships...Turned in fourth-fastest PSU times in the 50 free (19.83 at Big Tens) and 100 free (43.75 at Big tens), finishing 12th in both events...Member of 400 free relay squad that finished third at Big Tens with season-best 2:53.70...200 free relay finished fourth at Big Tens...Won two individual events, once in each the 50 free (at SMU) and 100 free (at West Virginia)...Member of winning 200 freestyle relay team against Maryland/Pitt/Villanova...Swam the 800 free relay twice, with the best time coming at Big Tens (6:30.12), good for sixth....Finished 53rd at NCAAs in the 50 free...Swam to 34th in the 100 breast at NCAAs...400 free relay squad was 21st at the NCAA preliminaries...Member of sixth-place 400 medley relay team at Big Tens (3:13.63)...200 medley relay team won twice (vs. Maryland/Pitt/Villanova and vs. West Virginia)...400 medley relay team won at Texas A&M.
Earned four varsity letters at Neuqua Valley...Played water polo...Owns team records in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 200 IM...Posted the fastest high school 50 freestyle time in the country as a junior (20.10 seconds)...Six-time state champion...In the club season, swam for the Fox Valley Swim Team for head coach Dave Krotiak...Holds team records in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 100 and 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke and 200 IM...Posted the top time in the country for his age group in Summer 2006 in the LCM 50 freestyle at the age of 16 (23.71 seconds).
