STATE COLLEGE, Pa., September 25, 2002 - The No. 12 Penn State's men's soccer team will look to keep the momentum rolling from wins over Akron and Michigan this past weekend when it plays host to No. 5 Indiana on Friday, Sept. 27, at Jeffrey Field.

The meeting between the two perennial conference contenders will be the 27th time that the two schools have met on the field of play. Penn State enters Friday's clash trailing in the head-to-head series 5-20-2, with the last win coming back in 1995, when the Nittany Lions knocked off the Hoosiers 2-1 in Bloomington. Penn State enters the game with a 5-3-0 mark while Indiana brings an overall record of 5-1-2 into the contest.

Friday's conference tilt will also be part of the "Code Red" weekend here at Penn State, where fans will have the opportunity to win a Sony CD player and an XBOX gaming system. In addition, there will be a special presentation prior to the start of the game so fans are advised to arrive early. Fans will also have an opportunity to meet and interact with their favorite Penn State players at the post-game autograph session.
