Nittany Lions Announce 2014 Spring Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's soccer will take part in six matches this spring beginning Monday, March 3 at Holuba Hall and concluding with a Blue-White Scrimmage April 19.

The two-time defending Big Ten title-winning Nittany Lions begin its exhibition slate against Haukar FC of Iceland Monday, March 3 at 4 p.m. inside the warm confines of Holuba Hall.

Following Spring Break, Penn State hosts the Harrisburg City Islanders Saturday, March 22 at Holuba Hall for a 4 p.m. game. The Islanders are members of the USL Pro league, finishing fourth.

The next Saturday, Penn State is slated to host Bucknell at Holuba Hall for a Noon showdown.

Saturday, April 5 sees Saint Francis (Pa.) and the Vaughan Soccer Club of Ontario visit Happy Valley for a round-robin classic at Jeffrey Field. PSU and Vaughan faceoff at 4 p.m. before the Red Flash plays Vaughan at 5:30 p.m. The round-robin concludes at 7 p.m. between the Nittany Lions and SFU.

On Sunday April 13 as part of Penn State's annual Blue-White Weekend, the Nittany Lions welcome defending Patriot League champion Navy for a 2 p.m. match. The spring slate concludes with PSU's Blue-White Scrimmage Saturday, April 19 at 11:30 a.m.
