2010,11 Academic All-Big Ten

2011 (Junior): Active in 16 contests, starting 14...Scored his lone goal of the season in a 1-0 decision over Saint Francis Sept. 14...Tallied nine shots, including two on goal...Academic All-Big Ten.

2010 (Sophomore): Academic All-Big Ten...Made his mark as a central defender, starting the final 19 games of the season...Played in a total of 21 matches...Earned first career assist in 4-3 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) (9/29), teaming with Corey Hertzog to give PSU a 1-0 lead in the game's fourth minute.

2009 (Freshman): Appeared in 11 games, earning four starts, including the final three of the season...Came into the Michigan State (10/4) game when Mark Fetrow was sent off with two yellow cards and helped hold the Spartans scoreless...Made first career start in draw with Northwestern (10/11)...Scored first career goal in NCAA Championship match-up with Maryland (11/22), heading in a ball to the tie the game in the 49th minute.

High School/Club/ODP: Four year varsity player at Downingtown West High School in Downingtown, Pa....The two-time team captain (2007-08) led the Whippets to Ches Mont League Championships in 2006, 2007, and 2008 and to District I and PIAA State Championships in 2008...Voted Most Valuable Defensive Player at Downingtown (2007, 2008)...Two-time NSCAA/adidas High School Boys' All-America First Team honoree (2007, 2008)...Selected to Region II Pennsylvania All-America Team, East Regional Pennsylvania All-America Team, Pennsylvania All-State Team, and Southeastern Pennsylvania All-Star Team in 2007 and 2008...Named First Team All-Ches Mont (2006, 2007, 2008) and Ches Mont League MVP (2007, 2008)...Honored as 2008 Philadelphia Inquirer All-Southeastern Pennsylvania Player of the Year and Daily Local News Player of the Year (2007, 2008)...Played club soccer with the FC Delco Academy Team (2008-09), FC Delco Hammerheads (2004-09), and Spirit United/FC Delco Strikers (1998-2003)...Led FC Delco to the finals of the USYSA National Championships in 2006 and to a third place finish in 2007 and 2008...Won four Region I Championships, eight EPYSA State Cup Championships, and two Region I Premier League Championships (2005, 2007)...Gained ODP experience with the EPYSA State Team from 2004-06.
