Josh LaGrow Earns ECAC Player of the Week Honors
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., May 13, 2004 - Penn State men's lacrosse junior goal keeper Josh LaGrow (Skaneateles, N.Y.) earned ECAC Defensive Player of the Week Honors for his performance against No. 15 Virginia, which was recently announced. This marks the first time that LaGrow was named conference player of the week in his career. Last Saturday, LaGrow made a career high 18 saves while collecting three ground balls in the 10-8 upset over Virginia. He finished the year with 89 saves and a .524 save percentage to lead Nittany Lion goal keepers. LaGrow was also fourth on the team in ground balls with 31 and earned a spot on the ECAC Weekly Honor Roll after finishing with 13 saves and five ground balls against Hobart.
