STATE COLLEGE, Pa., April 10, 2001 - The ECAC Men's Lacrosse Conference announced today that Penn State's Will Driscoll (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) is this week's conference Player of the Week.

The junior scored the game-winning goal in the 12-11 victory over No. 20 Hobart last week. He led the No. 19 Nittany Lions in that game scoring a season-high five goals and two assists. The win snapped a two-game losing streak.

Driscoll has been the team's offensive leader posting team highs of 25 goals, 30 points and 3.75 points per game while starting all eight. He is the first Nittany Lion to receive the honor this season.

Penn State is 4-4 on the year and is 0-3 in the ECAC. The team will be looking for its first conference win when it takes on No. 13 Navy at Jeffrey Field on April 14 at 2 p.m.
