STATE COLLEGE, Pa., April 9, 2002- Penn State senior captain Will Driscoll (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) was named ECAC Offensive Player of the Week after his two six goal games against Delaware and Hobart. This is the second time this season that Driscoll has been awarded player of the week. The first came after his tallied four goals against Fairfield in a 14-6 Lion win earlier in the year.

Not only did Driscoll score six goals against Delaware; he became the new Penn State Career goal leader. With 9:54 remaining in the second quarter, he scored his third goal of the game and his 105 of his career to take over the first spot on the list.

Driscoll also had a six-goal game against Hobart in a Penn State 11-10 overtime victory over the Statesmen. With those six goals, he now sits with 114 career goals and 35 goals on the season, which is currently first in the ECAC.

Penn State will travel to Navy for a non-conference match-up on Apr. 12 at 7:00 p.m. The Lions will then return home to host Rutgers on Apr. 20 at 7:00 p.m. to continue ECAC competition.
