No. 15 Penn State men's lacrosse defeated No. 9 Denver in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday, Feb. 17.
AS A REDSHIRT-JUNIOR IN 2013:
Played in all 17 games, scoring six goals with eight assists and nine ground balls...Scored goals against Notre Dame (2/24), Ohio State (3/2), Massachusetts (3/16), Bucknell (3/26), Villanova (3/30) and Towson (5/3)...Posted first multi-point day in a win over Bucknell (3/26)...Earned a three-assist evening in a win over Delaware (4/20).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2012:
Made three appearances early in the season...Scored twice vs. North Carolina (2/11) including a man-up goal, a ground ball and a caused turnover...Added two helpers in a win over Michigan (2/18)...Made final appearance of season at Notre Dame (2/26).
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011:
Appeared in 14 games and started two contests...Ranked third on the team in assists (7), fourth in points (15) and seventh in goals (8)...Tied for fifth on the team with one man-up goal...Scored one game-winning goal...Added 10 ground balls and one caused turnover.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010:
Played in 13 games and started one contest...Ranked fifth on the team with 15 points (6g, 9a)...Added 16 ground balls.
BEFORE PENN STATE:
Four-year letter-winner at Penfield High School...Served as team captain as a senior...Helped guide the team to the 2006 Section V title and played in the 2009 Section V All-Star Game...Also played football.
