No. 15 Men's Lacrosse Downs No. 9 Denver in Jacksonville

No. 15 Penn State men's lacrosse defeated No. 9 Denver in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday, Feb. 17.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2012:
Appeared in 14 games... Collected two goals...Scored once against Denver (3/10) and Saint Joseph's (3/24)...Recorded 11 ground balls, collecting six in a 16-9 win over Michigan (2/18)...Tied for fifth in caused turnovers (7).

BEFORE PENN STATE:
Played the 2011 season with The Community College of Baltimore County Essex...Collected 42 points (26g, 16a) and 52 ground balls...Named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team and was a first-team All-American...Garnered Maryland JUCO Midfielder of the Year honors...Earned first-team all-region and first-team Maryland JUCO recognition...Was the offensive MVP of the Region XX tournament...Sat out the 2010 season due to transfer rules ...Appeared in nine games with UMBC in 2009...Gathered three ground balls...Attended Eastern Technical High School...Earned All-America honors...Named first-team All-County and All-Examiner...Helped lead the team to the 2008 Region 1A/2A North championship...Was a finalist for the C.
