No. 15 Penn State men's lacrosse defeated No. 9 Denver in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday, Feb. 17.
Closed out his career at Penn State playing in every game during the 2016 season … Logged at least one ground ball in all but two outings, totaling 25 on the year to finish tied for third on the team in the category … Posted four ground balls and caused one turnover against Hobart (2/13) … Picked up three ground balls in back-to-back games against Villanova (2/27) and Penn (3/5) … Totaled three ground balls on the road at then-No. 19 Rutgers (4/22).
Junior Year (2015):
Appeared in all 14 games, making four starts, as a short stick defensive midfielder ... Scooped up 11 ground balls, a season-best two coming against Villanova (2/21), Penn (2/28) and Rutgers (4/19) ... Caused six turnovers ... Recorded a caused turnover in consecutive games against UMass (3/14) and Denver (3/21), and Johns Hopkins (4/11) and Rutgers (4/19).
Sophomore Year (2014):
Played in all 13 games ... Scored a goal against Dartmouth (3/18) ... Collected seven ground balls, with a season-high two against Villanova ... Caused three turnovers: against Denver (3/10), Delaware (4/19) and Hofstra (4/26).
Freshman Year (2013):
Appeared in all 17 games, primarily as a short-stick defensive midfielder ... Registered three points on a goal and two assists, while picking up four ground balls and causing two turnovers ... Tallied two assists in collegiate debut in a win over Michigan (2/9) ... Collected a season-high two ground balls vs. Ohio State (3/2) ...
