Greg Sampson heads into his second season at Penn State with hopes of emerging as a factor for Penn State's midfield. Look for Sampson to continue his hard work and maturation on the field.

LION CAREER:
2009: Sampson played in one game for Penn State last year.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Sampson was the offensive MVP for the Vikings as a sophomore and followed that up with two straight first team all-conference awards. A four-year lettermen, he was voted team captain as a junior and senior. As a sophomore, he scored the game-winning goal in the contest that clinched the league title for WCE. Sampson also lettered in football four years. He is the son of Don and Pam Sampson and has one sister, Katy. Sampson is a commercial recreation major at Penn State.
