Ridgway emerged as a key factor for Penn State last year, playing in 12 games as a true freshman. He scored five points off two goals and three assists and grabbed four ground balls.
Ridgway was a high school All-American last year and was a two-time All-State pick at LaSalle High School. Ridgway earned all-league honors three times and was also an Under Armour All-American. Ridgway is one of three high school All-Americans in Penn State's incoming recruiting class. He is the son of Conrad and Shawn Ridgway. He has one younger brother, Cody, and plans on majoring in finance.
"Conrad challenges Chris Hogan for the hardest shot on the team, but must work at getting it off quicker. Conrad saw key action as a freshman and he should be able to register key goals this spring. Our job will be to work Conrad off more picks to free up his shot. He should be a key for us on EMO chances this year." - Coach Thiel
