Penn State head coach Jeff Tambroni announced the addition of John Hogan as a volunteer assistant for the Nittany Lions in July 2017.

“Coach Hogan will provide assistance in a variety of areas after a completing a successful career as a two-way midfielder at Cornell University," Tabroni stated. During these roles, Hogan served as a mentor for student-athletes while working on drills and scenarios for his teams.
