Senior Year (2016):
Closed out his career in the Blue and White playing in 10 games … Logged at least one ground ball in all 10 appearances on the field … Set a career-high mark with six ground balls at UMass (3/19) … Registered three ground balls and one caused turnover in the win against then-No. 1 Denver (3/26) … Scored one goal and picked up two ground balls at then-No. 19 Rutgers (4/22) … Matched a career-high mark with six ground balls and two caused turnovers in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals against top-seeded Maryland (5/5) … Switched his number to No. 16 for the 2016 season in honor of Nittany Lion goalie Connor Darcey, who passed away in a tragic accident in summer 2015.
Junior Year (2015):
Appeared in 11 contests as the team’s top pole … Scored a goal against Penn (2/28) and in the Big Ten Tournament game against Johns Hopkins (4/30) … Dished out an assist against Ohio State (3/29) … Caused a team-best 12 turnovers, three of which were recorded at UMass (3/14) and a pair each in the Big Ten Tournament game and at Michigan (4/25) … Collected 34 ground balls, picking up five each in back-to-back contests against UMass and Denver (3/21) … Took four shots on the year: against Penn, Harvard (3/7), the Buckeyes, Rutgers (4/19) and the Blue Jays.
Sophomore Year (2014):
Appeared in 13 games, starting eight … Notched 14 caused turnovers, finishing second on the team … Caused five turnovers against Villanova (3/29), a single game high on the team … Caused three against Loyola (2/15) … Collected 29 ground balls, placing him fourth on the team … Recorded two shots.
Freshman Year (2013):
Appeared in 17 games ... Finished the season with 27 ground balls and six caused turnovers ... Collected two or more ground balls on 10 occasions with a season high three ground balls against Binghamton (3/19), Villanova (3/30), Towson (4/13), Delaware (4/20) and Yale (5/11) ... Knocked away a season-high two turnovers at Bucknell (3/26).
BEFORE PENN STATE
Lettered all four years at Duxbury High school, helping DHS to three state championships in 2009, 2011 and 2012 ... Earned Boston Herald's Massachusetts Player of the Year senior year en route to a 21-2 record ... Named Patriot League's Midfielder of the Year ... Played five years of club lacrosse for Laxachusetts.
