Led the team with 60 points, via 30 assists and 30 goals, which placed second on team rankings of assists and goals for the season … finished sixth on the Penn State all-time single-season points list, tied with John Hollerbach in 1989 … Opened the season with five assists against Robert Morris (2/4) … Put in four goals at Hobart (2/11) … Earned National Player of the Week after registering six goals and three assists versus Cornell (2/18) … Recorded three goals and tallied three assists in the 17-12 win at Villanova (2/25) … Added three assists against Penn (3/4) … Recorded an assist against Furman … Scored two goals and an assist at Harvard (3/11) … Put in one goal in the 9-8 win over Fairfield (3/17) … Led the team with four goals and two assists against Cleveland State (3/25) … Recorded a goal and matched a career-high of four ground balls versus Ohio State (4/2) … Put in a pair of goals and tallied a pair of assists at Maryland (4/8) … Scored two goals and added three assists to hit the 100-career point milestone at Johns Hopkins (4/15), becoming the 24th player in Penn State history to log 100-points … Recorded one goal and two assists against Rutgers (4/23) … Tallied three assists at Michigan (4/30) for the sixth time recording three or more in a game … Added an assist in the Big Ten Tournament game against Maryland (5/4) … Capped off the season with three goals and an assist in the NCAA Tournament game against Towson (5/13).
Earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention distinction to cap off a stellar season … One of two freshmen to start all 15 games, Led the team with 54 points, closing out the year atop the team standings with 34 assists in addition to 20 goals, which ranked tied for third on the team … 34 assists are tenth on the Penn State all-time single-season assists list and stand as the most for a Nittany Lion since John Hollerbach notched 38 in 1989 … Starting all 15 games on attack, Ament logged 10 multi-assist outings during the 2016 season and scored at least one goal in all but three games … He earned four Big Ten Conference four Freshman of the Week on all four occasions … Opened the season with a 7-point outing against Robert Morris (2/6) , scoring two goals and tallying five assists … Set another career-high mark with three goals and two assists in the win against Hobart (2/13) the following week … Scored two goals and totaled one assist in the win against No. 1 Denver (3/26) … Capped off the regular season with one goal and a career-high six assists for his second 7-point performance in the win against Michigan (4/30), while also picking up a personal best four ground balls … Scored one goal in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals against top-seeded Maryland (5/5).

Led The Haverford School to a 26-0 mark in 2015 as team captain, scoring 37 goals to go along with 83 assists ... Played high school lacrosse alongside Penn State teammates, Chris Sabia and John Nostrant… Finished the year with 120 points for a single-season school points record … A three-year starter at The Haverford School, he also helped the team to Inter-Ac Invitational titles in 2013 and 2015 … A two-time All-State honoree and 2015 Under Armour All-American … Earned 2015 Lacrosse Magazine/Nike High School Boys’ Player of the Year honors … Captain of the Dukes Lacrosse Club, while also playing with Mesa Fresh in 2015 … Ranked No. 31 on the 2015 Power 100 Freshmen rankings by Inside Lacrosse.
Born Grant Bradford Ament on April 15, 1997, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania ... Parents are Bradford and Lisa, both of whom graduated from Penn State ... Has twin brothers, Blake and Brandon, both Penn State Alumni.
