Greg Brown heads into his second season as one of a solid group of sophomores who earned valuable playing time in 2008, setting himself up to be a bigger factor in 2009. Brown will be counted on at long stick midfield to help the Lion defense.

LION CAREER:

2008:Brown played in nine games for Penn State last year and grabbed one ground ball.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Brown was a two-time team captain at Central Bucks West High School and helped guide his team to a 12-7 record as a senior and a ten-game turnaround. He also lettered in soccer at CB West. Greg is the son of Donna and Jerry Brown and has one sister, Celeste. His parents and sister are all Penn State graduates. Brown is a finance major.
