UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men’s ice hockey’s 2017-18 home opener against American International College on Thursday, October 19 will now be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network, as one of its wildcard selections, announced by the league earlier this week.

The game against AIC is slated for 7 p.m. and gives Penn State at least 10 games on BTN this season. The Nittany Lions have 13 total television dates announced thus far after learning yesterday that their series finale at Minnesota the week before has been moved to Sunday, October 15 at 4 p.m. ET due to a football conflict on Saturday night. The contest will be carried on TV by Fox Sports North and available on BTN2Go.

Penn State’s home opener on October 19 will feature a brief pre-game banner unveiling to recognize the 2017 Big Ten Tournament Champions and the Nittany Lions’ first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
