Ryan Patrick enters his fourth year at Penn State. Patrick is tasked with running all the youth hockey programs at Pegula Ice Arena. He currently operates the Learn to Play Hockey, the Nittany Lion Development Program, and skills and power skating clinics. Patrick also coordinates with tournament companies and youth teams that will operate a number of hockey tournaments and youth games at Pegula Ice Arena. Additionally Patrick will serve as the Camp Director for the Penn State Men's Hockey Camps. He is a level 4 USA Hockey certified coach, also a certified Hockey Director through USA Hockey, as well as serving on the USA Hockey Mid-American District Board as a State Vice President for Western Pennsylvania.Prior to Penn State, Patrick worked in the Pittsburgh Penguins organization in their Hockey Operations Department. He also was the Assistant Coach and Assistant Director of Hockey Operations for their ECHL affiliate the Wheeling Nailers for three seasons. He has coached several years of hockey camps such as Penn State Men's Hockey Camp, Minnesota Hockey Camps, Pro-Ambition Hockey Camps, USA Hockey Mid-American District Select Camps, and run his own camps. A graduate of Penn State University, he has a bachelor's degree in Recreation Park Management, and played his collegiate hockey for Penn State. Patrick and his wife Colleen '02 reside in State College with their three children Declan, Molly, and Sean.
