Penn State will be hosting the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships for the eighth time in program history, and seventh time inside the historic Recreation Building. The Nittany Lions last hosted the national summit in 2007, at Rec Hall, when they claimed their 12th national title. Happy Valley entertained the best collegiate gymnasts at the Bryce Jordan Center in 1998, with Penn State also hosted the event in 1960, 1966, 1974, 1983, and 1991, winning its sixth national title on its home floor in 1960, at Rec Hall.

Jepson returns 16 competitors from a squad that placed third at the NCAA Championships last season. Senior Scott Rosenthal (Clearfield, Pa.) and sophomore Craig Hernandez (Libertyville, Ill.) grabbed runner-up finishes in the still rings and pommel horse, respectively, at last season's championships to garner All-America status. Five other Nittany Lions earned All-America honors in 2012, with Felix Aronovich (Kiryat Bialik, Israel), Adrian Evans (Boulder, Colo.), Nihir Kothari (Malvern, Pa.), Parker Raque (Louisville, Ky.) and Nestor Rodriguez (Guaynabo, P.R.) all brining home top eight finishes at the national meet.

The Nittany Lions will host their annual Blue/White Showcase on Friday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. and will open the regular season on Jan. 12 versus Army at 7 p.m. Information on single meet or season ticket packages is available by clicking here.
