Stanford, Illinois & Michigan Advance to Friday's Team Finals at NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., April 12, 2007 ¨C Stanford, Illinois and Michigan advanced to Friday's team finals during this afternoon's session at the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships, being held in Rec Hall.

The three teams will participate in the team finals on Friday at 7:00 p.m. along with three teams that will advance from tonight's 7:00 p.m. session. Host Penn State, California, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Temple will battle for the three remaining spots in the team finals. The Nittany Lions are seeking their nation's best 12th national championship.

Stanford scored a 216.350 and was followed by Illinois (216.300), Michigan (215.350), Ohio State (215.250), Iowa (209.500) and Army (194.800).
