lLIONS HOST BIG TENS: Penn State will be hosting the 2001 Big Ten Championships at Rec Hall this weekend. Seven teams will be competing for the conference team title on Friday night. Michigan is the reigning champion while the Lions have never held the conference title. The Nittany Lions are coming off their best performance of the year, picking up their first Big Ten win of the season over Michigan State, and are ready to make a run for the team crown. On Saturday, gymnasts will be participating in the individual finals for the right to be called Big Ten Champion. Senior Chris Lakeman will be tough to beat on the rings as the highest-ranked ringsmen in the Big Ten.
