No. 2 Men's Gymnastics Win Tri-Meet at Illinois
CHAMPAIGN, ILL - The No. 2-ranked Penn State men's gymnastics team kept its unbeaten streak alive, placing first out of three teams at Illinois. The Lions scored a 217.250 to place ahead of the host Illini (216.450) and Iowa (213.750).
Penn State posted wins on rings (36.850) and parallel bars (36.000). It also scored a 35.500 on floor, 35.800 on horse, 36.750 on vault and a 36.350 on high bar. This is the Lions' second win this season over the Illini. The two teams met at Temple on Feb. 15 for a tri-meet which Penn State also won.
