No. 4 Ohio State Edges No. 3 Men's Gymnastics, 216.325-216.225

COLUMBUS, Ohio--The No. 4 Ohio State men's gymnastics team upset No. 3 Penn State, 216.325-216.225, on Saturday in St. John Arena. The Buckeyes' Raj Bhavsar won the all-around competition to defeat the Nittany Lions' Kevin Donohue who was the No. 1 ranked gymnast in the nation in the all-around entering the weekend.

Penn State had just two individuals earn victories at the meet. Donohue won the floor with a score of 9.575, while sophomore Kevin Tan (Fremont, Calif.) notched a 9.600 to win the rings for the third-consecutive meet. He was the top-ranked ringsman in the country entering the competition. OSU trailed the entire meet until the final rotation, which had the Buckeyes on high bar and PSU on parallel bars. Entering the final rotation, OSU was trailing the Nittany Lions by 2.250. OSU had a strong performance, recording a 36.850, while Penn State posted a 34.500 and relinquishing the lead to the Buckeyes.

Penn State travels to the Southwest Cup on Saturday, Mar. 2. The meet is hosted by Arizona State and begins at 9 p.m. Eastern.
