Donohue posted season highs on every event last weekend against Massachusetts on his way to the all-around title. He won the all-around with a career-high score of 52.950, while also establishing a new career-best on the high bar and winning the event with a score of 9.300. He also produced the top score on the floor (9.450). He finished among the top six in three other events, as well; parallel bars (2nd, 8.650), rings (6th, 8.400) and vault (sixth, 8.950). This week, Donohue is the top-ranked gymnast in that nation on floor and rates second in the all-around. Donohue won the award last year as a sophomore after winning the all-around title at the West Point Open. The Nittany Lions defeated UMass, 212.900-208.200, last weekend in Rec Hall. On Saturday, Jan. 26, Penn State will compete in its first Big Ten clash of the season at Michigan.
