Following back-to-back team tournament titles to close out the fall schedule, Penn State men’s golf coach Greg Nye has announced the team’s schedule for spring of 2018. The Nittany Lions will play in eight events including the 2018 Big Ten Championships in Baltimore, Md.
For the second spring in a row, the Nittany Lions will open up the new year with a battle for the Athletic Director’s Trophy when they take on West Virginia on Sunday, February 4, at the Reunion Resort in Orlando, Fla. On Saturday, February 24, Penn State meets Michigan State at the Challenge of Champions in Houston, Texas, in the fourth installment of the event. Nittany Lions hold a 2-1 series lead over the Spartans after last year’s 10-stroke victory.
The Nittany Lions return to traditional tournament-style play in the Colleton River Collegiate in Bluffton, S.C. The two-day tournament is Sunday-Monday, March 12-13 and is hosted by Michigan State.

The 2018 Big Ten Championship will be held Wednesday-Sunday, April 25-29 at the Baltimore Country Club in Baltimore, Md. Last season, the Nittany Lions finished fourth in the tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
