Rohanna Tied for Third at 22nd Annual Hoya Invitational
BEALLSVILLE, Md.; October 21, 2006 ¨C The Penn State men¡¯s golf team is in seventh place after the first round of play at the 22nd Annual Hoya Invitational hosted by Georgetown University. Only six shots separate Penn State (305, +21) from the current leader, College of William and Mary (299, +15). The two-day tournament, with a field of 12 teams, is being held at the Members Club at Four Streams, a 6,178 yard, par-71 course. Junior Robert Rohanna (Waynesboro, Pa.) is tied for third place after shooting one-over, 71, in the first round. William and Mary¡¯s Matt Brantingham leads in the individual standings after firing a three-under 68. Sophomores Chad Bricker (76, +5) and Tyler Tarney (80, +9) are tied for 21st and 49th, respectively. Freshman Kevin Foley (78, +7) is tied for 33rd and fellow freshman Jim Markovitz (79, +8) is tied for 41st.
