Men's Golf Garners Tenth Place in Cleveland
State College, Pa.- The Penn State men's golf team shot a final round 296 to finish 10th at the Cleveland State Invitational Tuesday. The tournament, which featured 17 teams, was held at the par 71 Sand Ridge Golf Club in Chardon, Ohio. The Lions were led by sophomore Robert Rohanna (Waynesburg, Pa.), who ended the tournament tied for 8th place overall at 3 over par. Rohanna shot a final round 72 to finish with a three round total of 216. Other Penn State scores included sophomore Harvin Groft (State College, Pa.) who tied for 22nd with an 8 over par 221. Senior Greg Pieczynski (Kingston, Pa.) was +16 with a total 229 and finished tied for 55th . Freshman Chad Bricker (Waynesboro, Pa.) was +20 at 233 and finished 69th, while senior Andrew Price (Mission Viejo, Ca.) tied five others for 70th at 21 over par 234. The University of Louisville edged out Texas Christian University by a stroke to win the tournament, going 19 over par en route to victory.
