STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- The Penn State men's golf team will open the 2000 fall schedule in two weeks.
In the season opener, the Nittany Lions travel to Wisconsin's Badger Invitational on Sept. 9-10. PSU then heads west to Fort Collins, Colo., for Colorado State's Ram Invitational on Sept. 25-26.
On Sept. 30 through Oct. 1, PSU visits Champaign, Ill., for the Northern Intercollegiate, the precursor to next spring's Big Ten Championship.

"The interesting part of our schedule is that 11 of the 12 meets are new venues or new tournaments for us," said PSU head coach Greg Nye. "It should be pretty exciting for this veteran team to see and play new courses."

PSU then heads to Texas March 24-25 for the Dr. Pepper Invitational in Pottsboro, Texas.
On April 9-10, Penn State visits Liberty's Spring Classic in Lynchburg, Va., before travelling to Princeton for its Invitational on April 20-21.
